With Apple CarPlay, you can take total control of your iPhone through the F309E’s impressive 9″ display. Functionality includes getting directions, sending and receiving messages, making calls and listening to music, all while concentrating on the road.

With Android Auto, you can connect your Android smartphone and take advantage of making calls, sending and receiving text messages, getting directions and using voice control, all through the touch screen and all while focusing on the road.

The great thing about the iLX-F309E is its versatility when fitting. Not all dashboards are the same, and Alpine has developed an adjustable display that can be angled from +45 degrees to -20 degrees. Once installed, the screen is locked in and secure.

The display can also be adjusted +3cm or -3cm allowing for a hanging or standing display configuration. The distance of the display to the dash can also be adjusted within a 20mm range.

When you need accurate directions that get you to your destination with pinpoint accuracy, the iLX-F309E’s precision GPS antenna will get you where you need to be. When used with your smartphone over Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, you can dictate your destination and start driving.

With Bluetooth built-in, you can wirelessly connect to your smartphone and enjoy hands-free calls and audio streaming. What’s more, you can also use voice control using the wired microphone.

USB connection provides a multitude of source options, such as memory sticks, iPod or iPhone, and other devices to playback audio and video files. Furthermore, MP4 video files are compatible providing stunning playback on the 9″ display.

With DAB+, you can enjoy your favourite digital radio stations while on the move. Search for stations by name and enjoy the improved reception and crystal clear listening experience that DAB+ has to offer.

The CAN-UART compatibility of the F309E allows connection to a vehicle-specific interface. Through this interface, you can view park assist, climate information, steering wheel controls and system information.

By connecting an optional reverse camera (sold separately), you can park and complete tricky manoeuvres with ease. Camera output is sent to the huge 9” display via the RCA input and gives you a wide and clear view of your surroundings.
